Sarson or Yellow Mustard seeds are the small round seeds of yellow mustard plants. Crushing and mixing the seeds with water, vinegar or other liquids creates the yellow condiment known as prepared mustard which is an important spice in many regional foods as well as it has many health benefits too. It can be consumed even without grinding for some of the cuisines. Despite the seeds, the leaves of Sarson is also edible.
