Neem, scientifically known as Azadirachta indica is a tree in the mahogany family Meliaceae which grows in the tropical and semi-tropical regions. It is a very unique shrub and the neem leaves are the most complex leaves on the earth. The neem tree has over 130 different biologically active compounds and its fruits and seeds are the source of neem oil.
